Summary

Reporting to the Assistant General Manager, this position is the face of Tanger Outlets Ottawa and is responsible for providing a compelling shopping experience for our customers. The Customer Service Representative is service driven and sales motivated; and works well in a dynamic, fast-paced, and evolving environment.

Responsibilities:

    Assist customers with questions and problems. Provide services that fall within scope of responsibilities including;

  • Answer incoming phone calls and greet customers. Listen to customer questions and provide answers courteously from CSR Notebook which provides answers to the most frequently asked questions.
  • Sell gift cards.
  • Rent strollers and wheelchairs.
  • Tell customers about special promotions, etc.
  • Distribute promotional material.
  • Handle small tenant requests.
  • Sell coupon books and distribute complimentary coupon books as necessary.
  • Other special projects as assigned.
  • Perform general office duties including;

  • Maintain supplies for fax and copier machines. Track and bill tenant usage. Send, receive and distribute facsimiles as required.
  • Perform database entry – daily traffic counts and weather on Tanger Intranet.
  • Complete accurate data entry in TangStats for all promotions including gift with purchase, direct mail, register to win, etc.
  • Maintain up to date records for all Tanger club and AAA Members in TangStats and record all activities as necessary.
  • Maintain TRIP (Traveler Referral Incentive Program) database where applicable including updating all accounts and generating quarterly rewards.
  • Data enter all bus and passenger counts on the Tanger Intranet.
  • Assist center management by completing minor reports such as: Promotional inventory report (promotional items, coupon books, brochures, etc.)
  • Other special projects as assigned.
